A Snake, a mouse, and the road. Talk about 'out of the frying pan'- only I guess this would be "into the frying pan and shoved under the embers".
The only real reason I'm submitting this is because I think the scales all roughed up there are perfectly in-focus.

And all these raccoon and deer pictures are probably getting boring. XD Especially since today, at the same spot, I took about 8 pictures of wild raccoons and 10 of a deer herd.
